An experimental crop, unique know-how, prestigious products… let yourself be carried away by this cultural and culinary discovery of the world of the Basque Hazelnut!

Visit from 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes (including about 15 minutes around the tasting of a plain hazelnut, hazelnut oil and 2 other surprise delicacies).

Description

This visit enables you to quickly discover all the company's activity, from the agricultural part to the processing and ends with a simple tasting.

The visit offers a viewpoint overlooking the orchard (indoors or outdoors depending on the weather), to see the '1st processing' and '2nd processing' workshops and will end in the shop.

The topics covered are as follows:

- hazelnuts in the world: a unique raw material

- an orchard in organic farming: an exception!

- the long process of transforming the hazelnut since its harvest: our quest for perfection!

- the secrets of a transformation focused on gastronomic innovation

The tour will be provided with a minimum of 2 participants.

The tour is in English.

Visit only by reservation (online booking deadline: 4 hours before the start of the tour).

Free for children under 4 years old (Please note: no tasting is provided for children under 4 years old because of the risk of allergy and/or misdirection).

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The tour is organized regardless of the weather (with the possibility of sheltering without losing any of the content of the tour).

The visit is accessible to people with disabilities; It just requires a little internal organization, please let us know before the visit.

Possibility to have a drink or a coffee on the panoramic terrace overlooking the orchard.
